Pia, Lorna, Carlos & myself!

This year only I headed down south to meet up with the beautiful Pia and Lorna and their old friend (my new amigo) Carlos. After arriving in San Jose, it was off to the bars to meet up with Lorna and Carlos and some other new friends....

After not enough sleep, Pia and I had to get up at 5:30AM to make it over to our bus to head down to the Pacuare river for our rafting adventure WooHoo!!!! Along the way we had some pretty scenic stops.

The Pacuare's River!!!!!!

Now after a long tiring day of rafting we make it back to San Jose just in time to clean up, have some dinner, find Lorna and head down to Jaco beach to meet up with Carlos. We didn't make it to Jaco beach till around 12 or 1 so we had a few drinks at the bars before heading back to Carlos' hotel where the serious drinking occured. After a long day Lorna, Pia and I headed back to our room for some much needed sleep.

Jaco Beach

Dinner after the drunk fest that day was quite interesting

The next day Lorna, Pia and I left Jaco beach and headed down the coast to Manuel Antonio. Along the way we stumbled upon this restaurant called "El Avion". This place was amazing, it was an old military airplane that had been abandoned at the Costa Rican Airfield and someone moved it to this beautiful location overlooking the ocean and made a restaurant out of it. My pictures don't do it justice, but you'll get the idea.

Then we continued onward to Manuel Antonio Beach for some more R&R which we really didn't get at Jaco due to the alcohol consumption (not that this is a bad thing) :-)
